Black Tar Heroin - Mexico is Large Producer

Heroin aka Mr. Jones -- whatever you want to call it, is an evil drug due to it's addictive properties. Once it has its hold on you, few can escape it.
In my "Hood" Toronto, my neighbourhood is discussing more HARM reduction sites, evidence of the quality and availability of this black devil, known as 'Black Tar'. Mexico is a large producer of this product.

Vice news has a documentary, titled "The Rise of Mexican Black Tar". It's a good watch and available below. Some commentary from Vice:

As the rate of opioid addiction has surged in the United States, Mexico has become the world's third-largest producer of opium used to process heroin. Mexican cartels are now the primary suppliers of the drug to the US, producing a crude and unrefined form known as black tar.

VICE News travels to the fertile mountains of western Mexico, where we see the beginning of the path black tar heroin takes to the US on plantations growing poppies used to make opium. We then head across the US border to witness the human cost there of the lucrative but destructive heroin trade.

Between Western coalition-backed weapon deliveries and the amplified wear-and-tear on machinery as time progressed, it is now estimated that attrition has claimed over half the SAA’s original strength. As a result, the availability of tanks and AFVs is an ever growing hurdle for SAA commanders to overcome. It is not uncommon to see SAA infantry assaulting rebel-held settlements with only a handful of vehicles to support. Read more
